UK-based Truphone, a VoIP service provider for Wi-Fi/data-enabled handsets, unveiled its software for the latest version of the iPod Touch last December. The software turns the Touch into a mobile phone. Though calls are limited to where there is Wi-Fi access, many young people and college students with access to campus networks can use the Touch for calls.
