HK mag apologizes for column calling RP nation of servants.

THE PUBLISHERS OF A HONG KONG MAGAzine yesterday apologized for an article that labelled the Philippines a nation of servants.

The apology was issued by Asia City Publishing Group (ACPG), publisher of HK Magazines print and online editions, which carried the controversial article by Chip Tsao titled The War at Home. It was meant to be a satire about Chinas claim to the Spratly Islands, but Filipino politicians and migrant labor groups in Hong Kong did not think it was funny.

The publisher and editors of HK Magazine wish to apologize unreservedly for any offense that may have been caused by Chip Tsaos column dated March 27. HK …
