LEBANESE BUSINESSMEN HAVE appealed to the Philippine government to allow Filipinos to work in Lebanon as the Middle Eastern country is in need of thousands of workers.

Abdul Kader Al Jadid, president of the Filipino-Lebanese Friendship Community, has called on the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) to immediately lift the deployment ban on overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) which was imposed at the height of the Israel-Hezbollah conflict in 2006.
