DIXON HEADS WINNERS AT GATORNATIONALS.(NEWS)

* Just three races into the NHRA season, Top Fuel veteran Larry Dixon is already a winner for the new Alan Johnson Al-Anabi Racing team after emerging on top at the ACDelco Gatornationals in Gainesville, Fla. Dixon (206 points) trails Antron Brown (259) and Brandon Bernstein (239) in the standings.
Dixon had the quickest dragster of every round, including the final, where he posted his third 3.8-second pass of the day to beat Cory McClenathan with a 3.898-second run at 311.05 mph to McClenathan's tire-smoking 4.570 seconds at 192.60 mph.
