William F. Brittan, 77, a Superior resident, died Thursday March 19th, 2009, in his residence.

He was born in Superior on March 13, 1932, to Leslie and Hazel Brittan. William graduated from East High School, and was a U.S. Army veteran. He had worked for the Soo Line Railroad as an Engineer until his retirement. William enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, birding, drag and snowmobile racing, and time spent outdoors at his cabin in Barnes.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lynn, son Darel, brothers Keith and Bryce, and a sister, Marilyn Brittan.

He is survived by sons Jeff and Corey …
