Butt Ugly

"My childhood friend asked me to be her bridesmaid, along with some of her bitchy sorority sisters. At the shower, I overheard one of them say I was 'huskier' than the other bridesmaids and would stand out like a sore thumb. A week before the wedding, we had to drop off the dresses to be steamed, and I offered to pick them up. I took a black permanent-ink marker to the dress of the girl who had made the comment and marked up its backside. When everyone got their gowns on the day of the wedding, she freaked, and I played dumb. She had to wear a wrap around her butt and stood out like, well, a sore thumb."--Deepta, 35

"I was psyched when the guy had been crushing on decided to come home with me after a party one night. We started to hook up, but as we were getting it on, I realized he was bad in bed. And to make matters worse, he was also ridiculously cocky. He kept complimenting himself throughout and saying I must be having such a good time. All I wanted was to put him in his place. Afterward, he got up to go to the bathroom. While he was in there, I got up and started IMing with my friend. She asked what I was up to, and I wrote 'Nothing. Just had some really lame sex,' left the screen up, and got back into bed. When he came back, he saw the screen and turned bright red. Then he made some excuse about having to leave and shuffled out."

Sheer Madness

"I love to vintage-shop, and I recently bought this gorgeous light pink chiffon skirt. I wore my great find to work the next day and was feeling superconfident in it. I even noticed a lot of people checking me out. Right after lunch, my boss called me in and asked me to shut the door. He was obviously flustered and finally blurted out that he thought I should go home and change. Apparently, a few people had approached him and commented to him that my skirt was inappropriate for the workplace. He told me that it was almost completely sheer in some light and that my thong was on display.
