Why is Central Florida a great place to live? Why do thousands of people continue to choose it as their place of residence, or their vacation destination? One of the primary reasons is the fact that we have a wonderful environment: temperate weather, clean air, water sports, fishing and a host of other outdoor activities, all in concert with beautiful surroundings.

Over the past few years, the Central Florida community has made tremendous progress toward the preservation, enhancement and restoration of our vast natural resources, but the process has just begun.

Over the next decade, we face an enormous challenge continuing to sustain the progress that has been made.
