Mar. 12--A new manufacturing firm on Connors Point should be ready for occupancy May 1, and hiring could get underway by mid-May at Exodus Machines LLC. "In the mean time, we'll be installing the equipment, and of course, talking to customers, doing all the other necessary things to get it off the ground, said Bruce Bacon, co-owner of the first-of-its-kind U.S. manufacturing firm that will build large equipment for the scrap and recycling industry. The firm will produce the machines that handle attachments such as the shears produced by Genesis Attachments, a company co-founded by Bacon and established on Connors Point in 1997.
