Progressive Networks has inked deals with two major producers of corporate video training to make its line of RealVideo Intranet servers more attractive to corporate customers.

Last week Progressive released the final version of its real-time video-streaming technology, RealVideo, for free download from its Web site. The company also added video and other improvements to its Daily Briefing custom news and entertainment service.

Although Progressive's Internet-streaming software has traditionally been geared for consumers (RealVideo and its companion RealAudio are accessed through RealPlayer 4.0), the company hopes that its partnerships with video training companies …
