GP survey shows decline in support for GPC amid anger over GMS contract.
Two-thirds of the profession have no confidence in the GPC, a GP survey reveals.
The survey of 376 GPs found that just 10 per cent rate the GPC's handling of the last round of GMS contract negotiations as 'excellent' or 'good'. Only 33 per cent still have confidence in the GPC.
'Our negotiators appear to be prepared to accept anything that is dumped onto GPs,' one doctor wrote. Another complained that the GPC 'has lost its teeth'.
