Tieto and Ruukki to continue close collaboration.

Ruukki is set to continue its service agreements with Tieto in respect of global and distributed IT infrastructure, Unified Communication & Collaboration, as well as high-availability SAP platform services. These services will be provided for Ruukki's operations in the Nordic countries, Eastern and Western Europe, Russia and China. In addition, the parties will jointly renew Ruukki's technological environment to support the company's global business targets. The agreement is valid for three years with an option to renew on an annual basis.

Mauri Isokaanta, Ruukki's Corporate IT Manager, says: "We have had a long and close collaborative relationship with Tieto; we appreciate the service portfolio they provide. The new technology, coupled with the service processes, will afford us true cost benefits."
