Ogilvy & Mather Asia-Pacific has promoted Eugene Cheong, its regional head of copy, to regional creative president.

Cheong first joined Ogilvy & Mather in 1981, and has worked across the network's Singapore and London offices.

In his new role, Cheong will work closely with Tham Khai Meng, who was recently appointed as the worldwide creative director of the Ogilvy global network.
