Suthep wants more action as police claim good year in drug detection.

Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban yesterday urged police to strictly enforce drug suppression laws to cut down on abduction, killing or the taking of bribes - while the Police Narcotics Suppression Bureau chief hailed the past year as a good one in capturing drug dealers and seizing assets.

After a meeting on drug suppression policy at police headquarters,Suthep said he had instructed police to set up special narcotics suppression groups, besides the central and provincial teams.
