FERRARI'S LATEST

Ferrari is moving ahead quickly with the F450, the replacement for the F430, and is planning a world premiere at the Frankfurt motor show in September. Known internally as the F142, the 4.5-liter, 500-hp V8 supercar will carry over very few components from the F430. F450 production is expected to begin in July, with European sales to start late this year or early in 2010.

SKETCHY SEDAN

Volkswagen has released this sketch of a midsize sedan that the German automaker will build at its factory under construction in Tennessee. The unnamed sedan, which will be slightly larger than the Passat, will go on sale in the States in 2011.
