Preparation for People Police Marathon in Top Gear.
The second edition of the People Police Marathon is set to hold on March 28, 2009 this year, in the Federal Capital Territory (FTC) Abuja.
The marathon, with the theme "Race Against Crime," aims at bridging the communication gap, fear and suspicion that exists between the people and police in Nigeria.
According to the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Zone 2, Mr. M.D Abubakar, "last year's edition was a success no doubt, but this year's is meant to build on the achievements made and to continue to encourage a new verve in the relationship between the police and public that is very essential in building a greater Police that will serve the nation …
