Philippines: DPWH to hold Job Fair on Monday.
Section: General News - In line with the President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo's thrust to create jobs to cushion the impact of the global economic crisis, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) with its 16 regional offices nationwide will open a job fair for construction workers starting Monday at 8 am.
Job seekers at the DPWH central office at Bonifacio Drive, Manila may file their application at the more than 30 contractor booths. The job fair is in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the National Constructors Association of the Philippines(NACAP) and the Philippines Construction Association (PCA).
