Poultry, pork prices to ease.

PRICES OF PORK and poultry products will likely go down next month as corn harvest peaks and more corn is shipped from abroad, an Agriculture official said yesterday.

"We expect [prices of pork and poultry products] to ease by the middle of March because imports by the private sector are coming and farmers in northern Luzon, particularly in Pangasinan, Isabela and Cagayan, will already harvest," Agriculture Assistant Secretary Salvador S. Salacup said in a phone interview yesterday.
