This Gulf-liveried LMP1 prototype is no everyday Lola T08/60. The bodywork is the result of expertise from Prodrive's Aston Martin styling and the Aston Martin Racing division.
The first Aston to race in the top division of Le Mans in 20 years will use the same 6.0-liter V12 engine that powers Aston's GT1-class DBR9s. Two cars will compete in two Le Mans Series races in Europe as a warmup for the 24- hour classic, and continue in the series afterward.
