Bentley will unveil a hot Continental, its fastest production car ever, at the 2009 Geneva motor show in March, but this one comes with an eco twist.
The revised Continental's 6.0-liter, twin-turbo W12 is biofuel-compatible, meaning that it can run on E85 and still make more than 600 hp and have a top speed of more than 200 mph.
"Delivering supercar performance, this new model is very much the extreme Bentley, says the company.
Because the ethanol raises the octane of the fuel, it can raise peak power output in a turbocharged engine by allowing the ignition to be advanced significantly without causing premature detonation, giving Bentley's W12 a significant power boost.
