With an extra 199 plays last week helping it to increase its audience by a further 1.27m, The Fear by Lily Allen spends a second week at the top of the radio airplay chart. Although runner-up Lady GaGa secured bigger increases in plays and audience, Allen's song secured a 3.33% larger audience than its rival, achieving an estimated 71.29m audience impressions from 2,127 plays. The Fear's biggest benefactors, in terms of audience, were BBC behemoths Radio One and Radio Two, which provided a joint 61.4% of the track's total audience. It was aired 26 times on Radio One and 20 times on Radio Two, sharing most-played honours on Radio One with KiD CuDi's Day 'N' Nite and on Radio Two with Imelda May's Jonny Got A Boom Boom. Some 15 stations aired The Fear more than 30 times, with top tallies of 43 plays on Absolute Xtreme, and 42 apiece on 107.6 Juice FM and The Hits Radio.
