Feb. 5--Cypress Bay paraded out its largest signing class, and Archbishop McCarthy displayed its crop of diverse talent. Flanagan showed why it's one of the top baseball programs in the area, and Douglas put its ceremony on hold. While much of the focus of National Signing Day was on football, it also brought excitement and recognition to players who competed in other sports. Cypress Bay produced its biggest signing class since the school opened in 2002. The Lightning showcased its collective brains and brawn to the tune of 19 signings, which included 11 football players.
