Proposal would shift balance of Pension Board. (Milwaukee, WI)

Ald. Marvin Pratt has plunged himself into the middle of the Milwaukee Pension Board dispute. In the same week Pratt was appointed to a seal on the board vacated by Linda Stewart, he sponsored an amendment to the city charter that would increase the number of members on the board from eight to nine.

The additional seat would be used to appoint a financial expert to the board who has experience with pension funds, Pratt said. The proposal is being considered by the Common Council.
