'Mini-city hall' complex opens in Miramar today: Health care and youth services among offerings.

Jan. 31--MIRAMAR -- The new Miramar Multi-Service Complex is a one-stop shop for everything from paying your utility bill to checking your blood pressure. The $15.4 million complex at 6700 Miramar Parkway includes facilities for nine partner agencies offering health care and after-school services. Except for a walk-in, nonemergency clinic, it opens today. "It's a mini-city hall," said Gus Zambrano, economic development coordinator for the city. The partnership includes a 2,500-square-foot Primary Care Center, designed to offer uninsured patients routine medical screenings such as blood work and physicals.
