Kebble art auction could raise R100m SLAIN mining magnate Brett Kebble's private art collection, believed to be one of the country's finest groupings of early 20th century works, is to go on auction in May. The collection, including 142 works by Irma Stern, Maggie Laubser, JH Pierneef and Vladimir Tretchikoff, is expected to raise nearly R100m. Graham Britz, of Graham's Fine Art Gallery in Fourways, has been appointed to conduct the sale on behalf of Kebble's estate. Britz advised and assisted Kebble with his collection purchases. The sale is to be held at Summer Place, Hyde Park, on May 7, and proceeds will go towards Kebble's insolvent estate. …
