A SCIENCE CENTER may be defined as a science museum featuring interactive exhibits that encourage visitors to experiment and explore.

In contrast to traditional museums, a science center mainly encourages its visitors to put their hands on, eyes on, ears on and minds on while they are operating the interactive exhibits.

Aside from permanent exhibits, a science center, on a regular basis, also displays temporary thematic exhibitions on various science topics or even conduct out-of-town activities via roving exhibits.
