from THE JAKARTA POST -- SATURDAY, JANUARY 17, 2009 -- PAGE 8 PATI, Central Java: Widespread flooding that hit Demak, Kudus and Jepara regencies in Central Java have also affected Pati, where 74 homes in Kasiyan village, Sukolilo district, were submerged Thursday.

Salam, head of the regency's community development and protection office, said eight villages in Gabus district had been flooded.
