2010 Audi R8 V10
You will hear no complaints about the Audi R8 sports car (top)-it's a mid-engine, all-wheel-drive supercar for everyday driving and is a current favorite for good reason. Audi goes one-actually, two-better by adding two cylinders in the R8 V10, a 5.2-liter, 525-hp, 391-lb-ft monster. It goes on sale in the United States this fall. (Cue the sound of editors licking their chops.) Look for the R8 V10 to come in at nearly $200,000.
2010 Bentley Continental GTC Speed
Bentley completes its Speed portfolio with the debut of a refreshed Continental GTC range. Along with exterior and equipment upgrades, a new GTC Speed model gets a more powerful 6.0-liter, twin-turbocharged W12 that churns out 600 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque. That's an improvement of 48 hp and 74 lb-ft over the regular GTC. The Bentley Continental GTC and the new GTC Speed go on sale this summer. Base models sticker at $203,795. Pricing for the GTC Speed hasn't been announced, but we expect it to be about $228,000.
2009 BMW Z4
BMW's first roadster with a retractable hardtop, the 2009 Z4 represents the first complete makeover of the Z4 since its debut in 2002. It features a two-piece aluminum top that collapses into a back compartment in 20 seconds. There's no soft-top version offered. In the United States, it goes on sale in May, priced in the low $50,000s for the range-topping sDrive 35i and in the mid-$40,000s for the sDrive 30i.
