QUESTION: All my guy friends say they can't believe that I'm single. I'm cute, I work out, I love sports, and I would rather hang out with the guys than go shopping with the girls. So with all that good stuff, what's the problem?

ANSWER: Cute with a hot body? Great. Just one of the guys? Maybe not so great. After all, if your guy friends really think any man would go for a hot chick who knocks back brewskis with the fellas, why aren't any of them going for you?

Most men prefer women who paint their toenails, not their faces. We like being teased about our sports fandom and our excessive beer consumption, and we in turn (secretly) like the fact that girls enjoy more feminine pursuits like shopping or ... even more shopping. Common interests are terrific, and we're psyched when you know what a touchdown is, but that doesn't mean we want to high-five you every time our favorite team scores one.

Now, with all that said, I don't think you should change. You sound like a cool chick, and there are definitely men out there who are into girls who know their way around a sports bar. Besides, it's far better to be yourself and find a sports nut who digs you than to pretend to be a girlie girl for someone who wouldn't be able to handle who you really are. Just know that, contrary to what your buddies tell you, it might take a little longer to find that special someone while you're waving a gigantic foam hand in the air.

QUESTION: I've been with my boyfriend for almost six months now, and we've never had a fight. This may sound crazy but I've tried to get him mad by being bitchy for no real reason, and he never takes the bail Does it mean that he's not passionate about me?

ANSWER: I know my job is to help solve problems, but I want to throw this out there: Maybe you're just in the honeymoon phase of a great relationship, and there isn't any problem.
