from ANTARA, The Indonesian National News Agency Palu, Central Sulawesi, Dec. 13 (ANTARA) - Central Sulawesi water police recently foiled an attempt to smuggle thousands of ebony and Amara logs to Tawau, Malaysia.

The smuggling was prevented by a raid conducted on boats filled with the logs, following a tip-off from local people, Adjunct Senior Commissioner Supriadi, head of the Central Sulawesi water police, said here on Saturday.
