Taking a snapshot at Phoenix leadership. (business)

The Business Journal unveils today its list of most influential business people. It is the fourth time the paper has published such a list and, like years past, it's certain to cause at least some controversy. There are bound to be people who didn't make the list who should have.

And those who are on it may be pondering their ranking.

While influence really can't be weighed on a numeric scale, the list provides an important view of leadership from the business community's perspective. I say leadership, because when we talk about influence, what we really mean is leadership.

And because leadership here is a constantly changing dynamic, I believe this list provides an insightful snapshot of who wields the clout in our region this year. …
