Section: General News - Customs Commissioner Napoleon Morales has put on alert the entry of imported poultry products in the country.

The order was issued amid reports that bird flu virus was found in a poultry farm in Hong Kong, where more than 80,000 chickens are set to be burned.

With this, he ordered Ma. Lourdes Mangaoang, chief of the bureau's X-ray Inspection Project, to place under mandatory scanning all refrigerated containers to detect any misdeclaration of goods.
