Greensburg-based publisher sees Sunday soar, while daily grinds
DOWNTOWN - New circulation figures show The Tribune-Review's rapid circulation growth continues, and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's circulation is still dropping, with the all-important Sunday editions showing the most dramatic contrast.
Data released last week by the Chicago-based Audit Bureau of Circulation revealed that the PG's Sunday circulation plummeted from 442,471 in September 1995 to 421,062 this past September.
During the same period, the Tribune-Review's combined circulation for its Pittsburgh and Greensburg Sunday editions climbed by more than 12,000, rising from 129,745 to 142,235. …
