Lenovo, Dell Vie for Brazilian Top PC Maker.

BEIJING, December 10, SinoCast -- Lenovo Group Ltd. (SEHK: 0992), China's largest personal computer maker, is said to brew an acquisition of Positivo Informatica, the top PC maker in Brazil, according to sources.

Because of that, Lenovo went up 4.57% to close at HKD 1.83 per share yesterday.

But Dell, another PC giant in the world, intends to participate in the competition against Lenovo. It has offered an acquisition price to Positivo. People in Lenovo did not give any comments on the deal.
