Umhlanga buyers spoilt for choice Umhlanga still rates highly as a coastal hot spot among prospective buyers. investigates the property market PROPERTY FOCUS KWAZULU-NATAL north coast's Umhlanga area has traditionally received the lion's share of buyer interest among upcountry investors and aspirant local buyers and for good reason. The area is well positioned to some of the province's best beaches and the Sibaya Casino, while Durban city centre is around 15 minutes away.

Also in relative distance will be new King Shaka International airport, being built La Mercy.

In line with the rest of SA, Umhlanga is a buyer's market, according to Anni Eisele of the local Pam Golding Properties, who says there are still many overpriced properties for sale and ample choice for buyers.
