'Charities will suffer' because of court decision against WiniKhaya Legal Affairs Correspondent THE Supreme Court of Appeal's (SCA's) order that the WiniKhaya competition was not a promotional competition and was therefore an unlawful lottery had far-reaching implications, the trust that operated the competition said yesterday.

The South African Children's Trust also maintained that the National Lotteries Board did not have the authority to declare a competition unlawful.
