Dec. 2--The Daily Telegram, Superior, Wis., Obituaries Howard W. Wells went home to be with his Lord on Nov. 26, 2008. He was born in Superior on Dec. 10, 1918. He graduated from Central High and attended State Teacher's College in Superior. On Sept. 2, 1944, he married Annabelle Haglund. After the war, they moved to San Diego, Calif. He was a State Farm agent, worked for the La Mesa-Spring Valley School District before owning and managing the Vicking Battery and Supplies with his partner, Dana Tjaden. On Nov. 1, 1991, he and his wife moved to Sun City West, Ariz. In 2006, they moved to Royal Oaks Retirement Community in Sun City. He is survived by his wife, Annabelle, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas D. and Anna Wells, five sisters, two brothers, one niece and one nephew. Memorial services will be held at Sunland Mortuary, Sun City, Ariz., Dec. 6, 2008 at 10:30a.m.
