Dec. 1--FORT LAUDERDALE -- A strike by taxi drivers at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Port Everglades has been suspended at least until Wednesday, officials and a cab driver said today.

Taxicabs returned to picking up passengers at both places Sunday, officials said.

A meeting between taxi drivers and airport and port officials is planned for Wednesday, Port Everglades spokeswoman Ellen Kennedy said.

Broward Sheriff's Office representatives are also expected to attend.
