Mid-America Airport in St. Clair County made the cut as one of six sites the world's largest international air express service is considering for its hub operations.

DHL Worldwide Express, known as the Federal Express of Europe, has 19 hubs worldwide, including one at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. The privately held company, which has worldwide revenue of $3.8 billion, has expanded its Cincinnati hub five times since it opened in 1983. DHL is still considering expanding its hub at Cincinnati, but if that airport is not chosen, the hub would move.
