Frankfurt/Main - Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) [Christian Democratic Union] does not want to transfer additional funds to Brussels for a European economic stimulus package. "We will continue to pay our contribution of 20 per cent to the EU budget. We do not want to increase this amount," Merkel told Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung. But there is the possibility of shifting and bringing forward in time some measures.
