Netscape last week at fall Internet World in New York closed two critical gaps in its enterprise product line, introducing a programming tools suite and a calendar application for SuiteSpot.
The toolset, branded Netscape SuiteTools, comprises four currently available products -- three of which come from third-party developers Symantec, NetDynamics, and NetObjects.
SuiteTools consists of Symantec's Visual Cafe Pro, for building Java applications and applets; NetObjects' Fusion, designed for Web site creation; and NetDynamics' Java-based NetDynamics high-end tool for database connectivity.
