Mercedes leads way JD Power and Associates has released its benchmark 2008 Initial Quality Study showing some major industry improvements INDUSTRY NEWS MOTOR NEWS REPORTER FOR the first time since the inception of the study in 2004, Mercedes-Benz has ranked the highest in initial quality among passenger vehicle brands in SA, according to the benchmark JD Power and Associates 2008 South Africa Initial Quality Study (IQS).
