FORMER SPEAKER JOE DE Venecias revelations about the ZTE-NBN overprice scandal and the alleged bribery of congressmen and governors in Malacanang have lost their sting.

The public dismisses the revelations as coming from a former Palace ally who has fallen from grace.

Had De Venecia, now back as a Pangasinan congressman, made those revelations before he was ousted as Speaker, these would have inflicted untold damage to President Macapagal-Arroyo.

People cant forget when De Venecia came to Ms Arroyos defense in the aftermath of the Hello Garci Scandal. Sorry Joe, youre late for the party.
