SAPURA ended as runners-up in Division One of the Malaysian Hockey League after a 5-0 hammering of National Juniors at the Kuala Lumpur Hockey Stadium yesterday.
Goals by M. Jiwa Mohan, S. Kuhan, Maninderjit Singh and South Korean duo Kim Jung-chul and Song Seung-tae were enough for Sapura to finish two points ahead of Tenaga Nasional for second place in the standings.
Tenaga inflicted a first defeat of the season on league champions Ernst & Young at the National Hockey Stadium in Bukit Jalil but it came in vain. …
