Nov. 25--The new Florida High School Athletic Association reclassification plan for all sports goes beyond adjusting class assignments because of student enrollment. The plan, announced Monday, also includes restructuring district sizes and requirements to qualify for playoffs.

Prompting the state to make changes was seeing mediocre or below .500 football teams advancing to the playoffs.
