Motorists wait for hours to get thru Davao flood.

DIGOS CITYHEAVY RAIN FLOODED the national highway in Sulop town, Davao del Sur stranding hundreds of motorists enroute to Davao City and General Santos City on Saturday.

Boyet Hernan, Sulops Association of Barangay Council president, said heavy rains started late afternoon, swelling a creek and canals along the highway. The flood caused a more-than-two-hour traffic on Saturday night.

We were forced to stop the motorists to prevent any untoward incident, Hernan said.
