CARINNA DAYONDON, ONE OF the only three Filipino women who have reached the peak of Mt. Everest, and Canadian expatriate David Verlee shared the limelight by ruling their respective divisions in the Anvaya Cove Invitational Triathlon in Bataan yesterday.

Dayondon finished strong in the swim leg and completed her fiery rally in the bike stage to bag the womens crown in two hours, 12 minutes and seven seconds.

Verlee topped the mens division of the 1K swim-30K bike-6K sprint event in 1:52.15.
