It is because of their devotion and dedication to their customers that Sunniland Corp. has been around for more than 100 years.

But it's more than that.

It's also because the company did whatever it had to do to survive that long - including selling fire insurance, oranges, farm supplies, lawn and garden supplies, fertilizer or roofing supplies.

Originally named Chase & Co. after the founding brothers Joshua and Sydney Chase, this Sanford-based corporation was established in 1884. It began selling fire insurance and fertilizer. Its main source of revenue was from insurance premiums.

In 1886, the Chase brothers bought orange groves and began to sell their crops.
