Aso puts off extra budget over distrust of Ozawa

LIMA--Prime Minister Taro Aso said here Friday he does not intend to submit a second supplementary budget for fiscal 2008 to the current Diet session, mostly because he "distrusts" Democratic Party of Japan leader Ichiro Ozawa.
Aso said to reporters at a hotel in the Peruvian capital, where he was attending a meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum, that his strong distrust arose after Ozawa later went back on a promise he made at their meeting Monday.
