Sources say that Aston Martin and Mercedes-Benz have yet to ink a multi-billion-dollar cooperation agreement, but we already know that the first model to carry Aston's revived Lagonda brand, due in 2012, will draw heavily on chassis technology supplied by Mercedes. One scenario suggests that the upmarket Aston could be conceived, developed and produced alongside the next-generation Maybach.
