THE GOVERNMENT HAS barred the workers of Triumph International Phil. Inc. from staging a strike as the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) between the union and the management appeared on the brink of collapse.

In a five-page order dated Nov. 17, the Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) yesterday assumed jurisdiction over the labor dispute between the Triumph management and the Bagong Pagkakaisa ng mga Manggagawa sa Triumph International Philippines Inc. (BMPTI)
